Foursquare es la red social más importante en cuanto a servicios de geolocalización, y sigue ganando popularidad entre los usuarios de dispositivos móviles. Lo divertido de esta aplicación es que combina la vida real con la dos punto cero, ya que te indica lugares cercanos, en donde estan tus amigos e inclusive te da recomendaciones basadas en los lugares que más frecuentas.
Crear un nuevo lugar (o venue) en Foursquare es demasiado sencillo y requiere pocos pasos. Tener un venue puede llegar a ser muy beneficioso para tu negocio, ya que se pueden hacer promociones y animar a los clientes a visitar el local. Esto es muy común en Europa y Estados Unidos, y se está empezando a popularizar en Paraguay con algunas empresas que a invierten en esta red social, como el Restaurant Bolsi o el Hotel Sheraton.
Pasos para agregar un nuevo lugar en Foursquare
- Ir a la dirección foursquare.com/add_venue.
- Completar los datos necesarios: nombre de lugar, dirección, teléfonoo, categoría y otros, tal como aparece en la siguiente captura de pantalla
- Hacer clic en Save. El lugar será añadido y ya podrás hacer check-in en unos 30 minutos aproximadamente, que es el tiempo que la aplicación tarda en añadir el nuevo venue a su base de datos.
Más adelante haremos otra guía de cómo reclamar un lugar en Foursquare que te pertenece, ideal para empresas que quieren empezar a invertir en esta red social, pero alguien ya creó el venue.
